ALL TRAVELING COACH TEAM: OFFENSE

The All Traveling Coach team is made up of the 31 teams from 7 states that I have seen this year. I wanted to compile a group of the best multidimensional  players as I could. This group is the kind of guys of would have loved to have coached at each position versatile, tough, smart, leaders.

QB: Joey Carino -senior- 6’2″ 198 – Archbishop Stepinac (NY)

22 TD passes -1658 pass yards-425 rush yards-8 rushing TDS.
Had a great command of the spread offense for a unit that average 35 points a game. He can be a classic pocket passer and a duel threat. He will play at the University of Albany next season.

RB: Kyle Monangai-senior-5’10” 195 – Don Bosco (NJ)

926 yards rushing – 413 yards receiving – 17 TDS
Versatile running back who lined up all over the field. He split carries with teammate Jalen Berger but still managed over 1600 all-purpose yards. He will play at Rutgers next season.

RB: Kaytron Allen – sophomore – 5’11” 193 – IMG Academy (FL)

1097 rushing yards – 17 total touchdowns
a big powerful running back that sets up his blocks well and has great burst in the open field. He really had an outstanding game vs St. Joes Prep 18 carries 165 1TD

WR: Will Diamantis – senior – 6’2” 184 -St. Joseph (CT)

41 receptions 662 yards 16.1 avg. 12 TDS
Tall ,long, receiver who runs great routes and is deep threat. Had his best game vs New Canaan with 4 catches for 135 yards and 3 TDs. Diamantis won 3 state championships as a major contributor at receiver.

WR: Sahmir Hagans – junior – 5’10” 175 – St. Joseph Prep (PA)

Versatile wide out that was a threat to score every time he touched the ball.  He seemed to make the big plays every time to the team needed him too. He scored two TDs including a 99 yard kickoff return vs. IMG Academy, 2 punt return TDs vs. Nazareth High School in state playoffs, 15 yard TD run in the state semifinals, and a 12 yard TD catch in the State finals.

TE: Garrett Cararo – senior – 6’1” 230 – Ansonia (CT)

A big physical tight end that was mostly used as a blocker in a run heavy offense (3293 rushing on the year). Cararo also played on the defensive lineman.  He caught 3 touchdowns on the season and also returned a fumble for a touchdown on Thanksgiving vs. Naugatuck.

Tackle: Todd Felter – senior – 6’3” 290 – Bergen Catholic (NJ)

Absolutely monster on the offensive line, finished his blocks, and has excellent athleticism.  Felter was clearly the emotional leader for the Crusaders. He will play at Rutgers next season.

Tackle: Patrick Passalacqua – senior – 6’2” 280 – Old Tappan (NJ)

An athletic two way player who was a key to the run heavy Golden Knight offense. He has Great footwork and hands at left tackle. He had an impressive one hand Interception vs Union City.

Guard:  Anthony Casillo – senior – 6’2” 285 – St. Peter (NY)

Physical guard who had a ton of pancake blocks on the season. Named team’s most valuable player and also was a defensive lineman and long snapper. Casillo was also name lineman of the year in the New York Catholic High School Football League.

Guard:  Tom Bambrick – junior – 6’4” 285 – Hand (CT)

Bambrick was a force on the offensive line for the Tigers. He did a great job as a puller getting to the second level of the defense and finishing his blocks when he got there. He was named to Walter Camp and Class L All-State Teams.

Center: Travis Gause – sophmore – 6’0” 250 – Central (MA)

When you watch a game you rarely notice one offensive lineman in the case of Travis Gause he stood out when we saw him play. A common theme to good offensive linemen is their ability to finish their blocks and he certainly was doing that. Good pass blocker as well for an offense that had over 4000 total yards and averaged 46.5 points a game.

All-Purpose: Jessie Parsons – senior – 5’10” 160 – New Rochelle (NY)

An absolute speed demon in the open field. The fastest player I saw this year. A threat to score on offense, defense or special teams. Parsons accumulated 2116 all-purpose yards and 30 total touchdowns. Also an outstanding track sprinter as well.

K: Austin Jose – senior – 6’3” 170 – St Joseph (CT)

A strong legged kicker who was a weapon on kickoffs eliminating the opponents return game with 67 touchbacks.  Jose was 83 for 85 on extra points and 4 for 8 on Field Goals. He added 3 TDs as a receiver for a total of 113 points.
